Hahaha i decided to write my opinion on ICC Concert 2011 on my blog X) sorry blog, i left you deserted for quite a while :P well lets get straight to the point
ICC Concert 2011 is themed Spectrum: Coloring Outside The Lines
It was one of the best and biggest ICC Concert ever, period.
And the performances were better than last year, but the intro was LEGEN-waitforit-DARY! 8D seriously, the singers come out together and sing one awesome song [Those noobs out there, its Waiting For The World to Change by John Mayer] and the dances too :DD their entry from the seats was surprising [tapi Jabbawockeez, wth] , i hope they'd keep this momentum next year :DD
Another reason Im posting here is for the modern dance category (: some of my friends asking for my insights on the performances, so why not i would just tell every reader here. Here it go

Infinity: Guys ur songs were good, ur choreography were good, costume were good, but what were you guys lacking was some flashy moves, consistency is good, but in this case, ur performance were too consistent, it felt too plain. Lacking the variety of dancing styles and the usage of props are the thing you guys need to fix, thats it. coordination was good, and i like ur steps (: costumes were nice! [non-pervert way XP] so my marks is 7/10 :DD
Deviation: This is the team that people has been talking about, some were good, others were bad, and i was kinda leaked some of the moves [thanks to joey :P]. But hey, choreography was good, but still from what i can see, the choreography is good, but in frames. Perfection has yet to be reached, and if they did, can pulled quite a performance yesterday. You guys were aiming some kick-ass moves, but kinda failed at it XP [e.g the robot isolation method, was kinda funny looking] And i liked the intro :DD one of the best ones ive seen, umbrella, no one thought of that. Songs were good, but it sounded too much compressed, thats it. so me marks is 7.5/10 :DD
The Time: Some said they didnt deserve in ICC, but they've proved they were more than it (: The performance was really good, but lets get to the negative side. Like Deviation, choreography was good, but in frames, in fact, very small frame. Yet to reach full perfection, and lack of coordination, and also, one of the worse thing in a dance performance, *drum roll* blur face. Some of you guys were looking at each other while dancing, forgotten steps eh? And to the leader there, shock sendiri kot. I see you put all the flashy moves, it was good, awesome, but why only one or 2 person doing it? take Deviation, the time where the guys carried the girls [people call it live porn xD] its team, not a solo. If they cant do it, find a way so everyone can do it. ICC its all about team, so take note on that. Songs were nice, really. Variety good, costume... why not all wear the same? unless that is your plan. Lack use of props and intro a bit invisible. So I would give them, sorry but only 6/10
Wild Child: Favourites to win this year, and they did it. Awesome intro, cage and all, props were nice, money throwing, wow (: Choreography was nice, but commenting on the popping, a bit solo-ish. Songs were, well in my point of view, misused a bit. I Like That is not intended for popping, its for a speed hip hop move and Tambourine is meant for breakdancing! XD But somehow, you guys manage to make awesome steps with Tambourine. Papa Americano was good use (: brought me to my feet. Flashy moves were there [Dana, OMG!] coordination was perfect, synchronization was good, but i can see the back got a bit problem. I dont know about this, but if you guys were covering the less excellent ones at the back will be a big blowout if you go for outside competitions, as the judges will see people at the back extra focus. So in the end, worthy, 9/10. well done, bravah.
12.0: Unique performance, their choreography was really unique, full of variety BUT lack flashy moves, and your contemporary performance was sorry to say, horrible, most of the times i see you guys were standing waiting for a move then do a slow move and pause there too, honestly, my team were doing the same moves too. Love the intro, really, love it. Songs were nice, very fit for dancing. I know you guys are continuing next year, I believe you guys will step your game up (: Add more energy, power, and perfection. Verdict is 7.5/10
